Applications : S-(2-Succinyl)cysteine is a novel chemical modification of tissue proteins by a Krebs cycle intermediate. Also tissue distribution of S-(2-succino)cysteine (2SC), a biomarker of mitochondrial stress in obesity and diabetes.
