Applications : This is a deuterium labelled version of Sotalol, which is an orally active, non-selective beta-adrenergic receptor blocker. It is a potent antiarrhythmic agent that can be utilized in the research of pediatric arrhythmias. Sotalol works by blocking beta-receptors and potassium KCNH2 channels. Additionally, it acts as an antiepileptic agent.
