Applications : T‑690 functions as a potent GCS inhibitor with strong activity against human GCS and moderate activity against mouse GCS. It exhibits a noncompetitive inhibition pattern toward both C₈‑ceramide and UDP‑glucose. Its favorable pharmacokinetic and brain‑penetrant properties support its use in Gaucher’s disease research.
