Applications : Tamsulosin is an orally administered antagonist of the α1-adrenergic receptor that induces apoptosis. It is commonly studied for its effects on prostatic hyperplasia. Additionally, in animal models, Tamsulosin has been shown to reduce the growth of abdominal aortic aneurysms and suppress inflammation.
