Applications : TBI‑223 is an oral oxazolidinone antibiotic active against M. tuberculosis and effective in multiple MRSA mouse infection models. It inhibits mitochondrial protein synthesis in HepG2 cells (IC₅₀ = 68 µg/mL) and serves as a valuable tool compound for studying drug‑resistant TB and Gram‑positive pathogens.
