Applications : This is a major metabolite of Temozolomide, which is an oral active DNA alkylating agent that crosses the blood-brain barrier and induces autophagy and apoptosis. It is effective against tumors with low O6-alkylguanine DNA alkyltransferase and intact mismatch repair, exhibiting both antitumor and antiangiogenic properties.
