Applications : This is a deuterium-labelled version of Tetracaine hydrochloride, which is a calcium channel protein inhibitor and blocks voltage-sensitive release of Ca2+ from sarcoplasmic reticulum. Tetracaine hydrochloride is mainly used topically in ophthalmology and as an antipruritic.
