Applications : This is a thienopyrimidine‑based derivative containing a 2‑aminothiophene fragment, identified as a lead antitumor compound in the series. It shows strong cytotoxicity against B16‑F10 melanoma cells, low toxicity toward normal MEF cells, and induces apoptosis as the primary mechanism of melanoma cell death. In vivo, It demonstrates biosafety and significant suppression of pulmonary metastatic nodules, supporting its advancement as a promising metastatic melanoma candidate.
