Applications : This is a thienopyrimidine‑based derivative incorporating a 2‑aminothiophene fragment, identified as one of the lead antitumor agents in the series. It shows strong cytotoxicity against B16‑F10 melanoma cells, low toxicity toward normal MEF cells, and triggers apoptosis as the dominant mechanism of tumor‑cell death. In vivo, it demonstrates biosafety and significant inhibition of pulmonary metastatic nodules, supporting its potential as a promising candidate for metastatic melanoma therapy.
