Applications : This is a thienopyrimidine‑based derivative containing a 2‑aminothiophene fragment, identified as a lead compound for metastatic melanoma therapy. It shows strong cytotoxicity against B16‑F10 melanoma cells, minimal toxicity toward normal MEF cells, and induces apoptosis as the primary mechanism of tumor‑cell death. In vivo, It demonstrates biosafety and significant inhibition of pulmonary metastatic nodules without detectable organ toxicity, supporting its advancement toward preclinical melanoma studies.
