Applications : This is an impurity of Triamcinolone acetonide, that inhibits fibroblast growth factor (bFGF)-induced proliferation of retinal endothelial cells, reduces chondrocyte viability leading to cartilage destruction, and activates anti-inflammatory macrophages. Triamcinolone acetonide is also used to study diseases like atopic dermatitis.
