Applications : Trifluoperazine-d8 is a deuterium-labelled version of Trifluoperazine. This can be used as an analytical labelled reference standard. Trifluoperazine is an antipsychotic that blocks central dopamine receptors, inhibits α1-adrenergic receptors, NUPR1, calmodulin, and P-glycoprotein, and acts as a reversible inhibitor of influenza virus morphogenesis. Trifluoperazine is used in schizophrenia research and has anticancer properties.
