Applications : Coenzyme Q9, the predominant form of ubiquinone in rodents, is an amphipathic molecule integral to the electron transport chain and acts as an endogenous antioxidant. It mitigates diabetes-induced reductions in antioxidant defense mechanisms. Additionally, Coenzyme Q9 enhances left ventricular function and decreases both myocardial infarct size and cardiomyocyte apoptosis.
