Applications : URB-937 potently inhibits peripheral FAAH (IC₅₀ = 26.8 nM) and increases anandamide levels outside the CNS. Its lack of blood–brain barrier penetration prevents inhibition of brain FAAH, giving URB937 a peripherally selective pharmacological profile.
