Applications : Vandetanib is a novel quinazoline based ananti-cancer drugthat is used for the treatment of certain tumours of thethyroid gland. It acts as akinase inhibitorof a number of cell receptors, mainly thevascular endothelial growth factor receptor(VEGFR), theepidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR), and theRET-tyrosine kinase.
