Applications : Vandetanib N-Oxide is the second major metabolite of vandetanib formed during the metabolism of vandetanib via flavin-containing monooxygenase (FMO) polymorphisms FMO1 and FMO3. Exposure to vandetanib N-oxide was very low compared with that of vandetanib and increased exposure to vandetanib N-oxide led to severe hepatic impairment.
