Applications : Vitamin K2 (5)-D₇ is a labelled analogue of Vitamin K2(5). It is an analog of Vitamin K that acts as a reducing agent and also acts as an electron carrier in the electron transport chain of many bacteria. Intake of Vitamin K2(5) is associated with a reduced risk of coronary heart disease.
