Applications : WX-8 potently inhibits PIKFYVE (K_d = 0.9 nM) with weaker activity toward PIP4K2C (340 nM). It disrupts lysosomal fission without altering homotypic lysosomal fusion and is used to investigate lysosomal and autophagy‑regulated mechanisms in cancer models.
