Applications : Zaprinast selectively inhibits PDE5, leading to elevated cGMP levels in myocytes, and also serves as a species‑dependent GPR35 agonist—potent at rat GPR35 and moderate at human GPR35. Through these mechanisms, Zaprinast suppresses vascular remodeling by limiting proliferation and promoting apoptosis.
