Applications : This is an advanced key intermediate in the preparation of Brexpiprazole and related analogs. A potent partial agonist at human 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) 5-HT1A and dopamine D2L receptors, and an antagonist at 5-HT2A receptors. Brexpiprazole is used to treat the symptoms of schizophrenia.
