Applications : 1-(3-Ethoxy-4-methoxyphenyl)-2-(methylsulfonyl)ethan-1-amine is an impurity of Apremilast (Apremilast EP impurity H). A novel phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor, regulates inflammation through multiple cAMP downstream effectors. Apremilast inhibits PDE4 with an IC₅₀ of 74 nM using 1 μM cAMP as substrate.
