Applications : rac-4’-O-Ethyl-3’-O-methyl apremilast is an impurity of Apremilast (Apremilast EP impurity E). A novel phosphodiesterase 4 (PDE4) inhibitor, regulates inflammation through multiple cAMP downstream effectors. Apremilast inhibits PDE4 with an IC₅₀ of 74 nM using 1 μM cAMP as substrate.
